Before leaving, however, Thom discusses the possibility that the future where he becomes the 21st century Starman is not Jack's future, or the future of the Thom we see in Legion Worlds #4 onward.

He makes reference to Color Kid and Polar Boy. Glimpses of coming scenes hint that Dawnstar will be involved in the unfolding story. The Justice Society of America v3 #2 (1st Printing) (published January 10, 2007, cover date March 2007) The Next Age: Chapter 2 W: Geoff Johns; P: Dale Eaglesham; I: Ruy José; C: Jeromy Cox; L: Rob Leigh; E: Eddie Berganza, Adam Schlagman (assistant) Starman makes reference to murder not being "part of the code", Kenz Nuhor and a vote of 10 to 9 - all primary story elements of Adventure Comics #342. He is shown unmasked for the first time, revealing a beard similar to that worn by Star Boy beginning in Keith's Giffen's stint on Legion of Super-Heroes v2. He also mentions being trapped somewhere that was "blown to Kingdom Come", implying that he is the same Starman seen in that series.
