By the way, the postcard set images I've uploaded so far are from this site. However, somewhere around my house I have the postcards, and I can re-scan them in at some point and convert them to PNG format or crop as necessary. That's sort of low on my project list in general, however, unless someone's clamoring for updated/new/higher resolution images. Or, I could upload these to LegionPics? They're all Giffen/Gordon and the set has been out of print for 16 years. Autochef 10:21, 7 July 2006 (PDT)

:The no-scans-from-other-sites rule is mostly to head off complaints from the owners of those sites (which is why I excluded LegionPics since, y'know, Lightning Lad, the guy who runs that site also runs this one - they're both even under the same URL!). It'd be nice if you could reupload with better scans, but it doesn't need to be done right this very second.

:And the resolution thing when they're already @ LegionPics is mostly because double-uploading when it's not needed drains the site's space - you can't really include an image not in the LegionWiki filing system in a page since you can't resize it/thumbnail it, so uploading stuff again is needed to an extent, but there's no point in going too far. - Reboot (SoM) <small>talk page</small> 10:47, 7 July 2006 (PDT)

::OK. Well, I guess I'll scan them someday and see if the files are any smaller in PNG format. Otherwise, I might as well just upload the already-scanned (by Sidne, who I'm sure won't mind) images as needed. I won't do it for any profiles we don't have, and I guess I won't upload the Bounty image unless someone thinks it's needed on the Dawnstar profile page. Thanks!

The no-scans-from-other-sites rule is mostly to head off complaints from the owners of those sites (which is why I excluded LegionPics since, y'know, Lightning Lad, the guy who runs that site also runs this one - they're both even under the same URL!). It'd be nice if you could reupload with better scans, but it doesn't need to be done right this very second.
And the resolution thing when they're already @ LegionPics is mostly because double-uploading when it's not needed drains the site's space - you can't really include an image not in the LegionWiki filing system in a page since you can't resize it/thumbnail it, so uploading stuff again is needed to an extent, but there's no point in going too far. - Reboot (SoM) talk page 10:47, 7 July 2006 (PDT)
OK. Thanks! Autochef 11:08, 7 July 2006 (PDT)
