It was guest star night on AOL's LSH chat. The regulars were represented by Tom Peyer, Tom McCraw, and KC Carlson. Guest stars included Keith Giffen, John Byrne, and Curt Swan. AOL LSH Chat takes place every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. EST in the DC Online Chat Room on America Online. Previous guests have included Mark Waid, Tom Peyer, Tom McCraw, Jeff Moy, Mike McAvennie and KC Carlson. DISCLAIMER - It's all subject to change and/or being wrong. Personal note - Anytime you get to throw Blue Kryptonite at John Byrne, you know you're in for a fun time. Keith Giffen politely refused to discuss the Legion. (There is always a question in my mind when anyone shows up online claiming to be a pro, but he answered questions intelligently enough to mostly convince me.) KC Carlson is now co-editing the Superman titles. (This was announced in LSH #68.) He won't be leaving the Legion titles. The Superboy crossover has been moved. It will be a 3 parter starting in Superboy, then LSH (same week), then L*. It goes on sale in September, and will have a November shipping date. According to Tom Peyer, Lyle is a loose cannon. The reason that he insisted that he go along on the Tangleweb mission is that he felt like he had to be there 'cause he couldn't be excluded. Lyle will be screwing up soon. They're trying to get more exposure for the LSH in the DC Universe. At this time, there's no plan to explain how Time and Time Again fits in the Legion chronicles. Durlan antennae are functional. They sense the form that is being mimicked. More exploration of this is coming in L* #25 and LSH #69. The creators feel like they need to introduce more guys for the LSV to work. Plus, they're concerned that the LSV is a dumb name. Byrne--who said "Legion sux" no less than 3 times (in a joking way)--asked if he could screw up the Legion again when he gets a new Superman book. He does think that getting rid of Superboy was his big mistake in doing "Man of Steel". They may be adding Legionnaires this summer because they're going to have to replace some soon. The White Triangle organization is a racist organization with a dash of xenophobia. White Triangle is not the Dark Circle. The White Triangle will be causing big trouble all over the galaxy following the Composite Man storyline. They're still considering a name for Chuck Taine. Rebound and Bouncing Boy are currently being considered. Tom Peyer remarked that he wanted to cover him in silver armor (not personally, you understand) and call him Pinball. The Time Trapper can be found anywhere and everywhere. TT pops up in a flashback in the New Titans Annual. The TT is not necessarily a woman, but does have long hair. He/she/it won't be appearing for a while due to overuse last year. Doctor Regulus is returning. He has essentially the same history but is a little tougher this time around. There was another Mon-El name discussion. They don't want to use the name because they prefer that Superman be the last survivor of Krypton, and the "-El" portion of the name is Kryptonian in origin. No Mordru for a while due to perceived overuse recently. Curt Swan would love to take on some LSH projects, but hasn't been asked. He loved the characters involved, but there were way too many. Saturn Girl was his favorite. The art of the deal. Byrne promised to write a Saturn Girl mini-series if Curt would pencil. KC had left by the time this offer was made, but Peyer is passing it along. L* #25 is a good jumping on point. Tom McCraw wants to do the Wanderers. Peyer would like to bring back the original Computo and the Weirdo Legionnaire. The Allen family (Don, Dawn, Bart) will be seen in the LSH annual.
