Baby on Board
Apparition, her son and Timber Wolf are delayed in meeting with the Legion after the Footstep Drive ship they were on is disabled by a mysterious energy wave.
As Apparition is affected by mysterious, painful, telepathic emissions coming from the disabled engine, Timber Wolf is forced to chase "Cub", who has the powers of both his parents, around the ship until they meet up in the engine room, where Cub inadvertently unlocks the engine, revealing the "engine" to be a mutated Vygran/Carggite/Winathian hybrid. Allowing it to die, trusting that help will come, its' final transmission to Apparition (sensitive because of her own half-Carggite heritage) tells her that it was the Robotican wake which had disabled it...
Notes
- This issue follows directly on from Apparition, "Cub" and Timber Wolf's departure from Rimbor in Legion Worlds #6, and no references are made to the first eight issues of the series.
