::::I would simplify still further - there should be no LPH page with fewer than... oh... eight issues (and I'd rather argue up than down from there. I originally wrote twelve, and if someone said twenty, I'd go with that) on it. You reach a point where you're categorising for the sake of categorising. There's a "Legion Publication History/Mini-Series" (which should be Miniseries, no hyphen, but I digress), and having a bunch of four-issue pages to supplant that doesn't help. - Reboot (SoM) <small>talk page</small> 13:16, 3 November 2006 (PST) | ::::I would simplify still further - there should be no LPH page with fewer than... oh... eight issues (and I'd rather argue up than down from there. + | :::::I think both the general miniseries page and a page listing just four issues for a given miniseries title will be useful to some users on occassion. The miniseries page will eventually have dozens of issues, and for that person who doesn't know what year Legionnaires Three was published, it would be useful to just pick the title from a list. Is it really so bad to have short page? Are we conserving? IMHO a category for all Legion issues in a series has some value, even if its only 2. However, if the consensus is keep it to a larger number, I can live with it. -- Gopher 20:24, 13 November 2006 (PST) |

Stuff to eventually add:
Ambush Bug Nothing Special, Stocking Stuffer- I'm taking this off the list because its not really a miniseries -- Gopher 10:22, 17 November 2006 (PST)
Armageddon 2001Armageddon: InfernoBloodbath- Books of Magic (v1)
Crisis on Infinite EarthsDC Challenge (Elseworlds)- You have #12 listed on your anal retentive list, but I cant find anything Legion-related in it. Is it perhaps another issue? -- Gopher 10:22, 17 November 2006 (PST)
- Scratch my previous question - I found the one panel that shows a partial image of Wildfire. Thisis the only issue of the series I have read - I kind of get the impression that Wildfire may have appeared at least in one other place - anyone know if and where? Gopher 21:11, 4 December 2006 (PST)
- DC One Million
- DC Universe: Trinity
Final NightGenesis- Kingdom
- Kingdom Come (technically it's Elseworlds, but we've seen the Star Boy/Starman character in mainstream continuity)
- Actually, we haven't. We've seen AN adult postboot Thom in that costume in Starman, with no indication he's from the same timeline. A costume isn't enough in and of itself. (and, given that the opening had rendered KC certainly-not-THE-future as of JSA Secret Files #1 and Wesley Dodds' [JSA-Sandman] death therein, there's a "probably not" about it. And a Starman in that costume appearing in the JSofA relaunch is nothing until the details are confirmed.) - Reboot (SoM) talk page 15:32, 3 November 2006 (PST)

Plus numerous one-shots (Secret Files, etc.)

We'll eventually get these these on the page, and for some of these, they need to be added to the regular LPH as well. If you dont mind, I'll use your list above as a to-do list and simply strike through them as they are added. However, a couple of questions:
- Ambush Bug specials - Do you consider these a mini-series? I was planning on putting these on a page for specials and one-shots.
- Subs - same as #1
- DC One Million - Is this considered a separate series? I always have considered these issues to be part of the regular series to which they correspond. I guess it makes sense to put them together, though.
- Crisis and other "longer" mini-series - I dont know why, but when I first built the page I was only looking at series that have a few issues. However, you are correct in that the page rightly should contain any series that is published with a planned finite number of issues. (i.e not ongoing series that were cancelled)
--Gopher 15:33, 1 November 2006 (PST)
- Ambush Bug - I figured since there were two one-shot Specials (Stocking Stuffer and Nothing Special) that would bend the rules.
- Hmmm, Subs shouldn't be there at all, that was a one-shot with no related followups.
- There was a DC1M 2-issue bookend series, but the Annuals should each be part of the parent series. I don't recall what Legion content was in either/both of those books.
- I think Crisis was the only "maxi-series" (limited series of greater than 6 issues) that the Legion appeared in.
- You didn't mention it, but I'd include the Kingdom book-end issues and any of the one-shot stories that the Legion appeared in, as one series since they're so related. Ditto the Showcase '9x books.
-- Omnicom 00:34, 2 November 2006 (PST)
- I would rather put the Ambush Bug issues on the specials/one-shot page. Does that work for you?
- Several of the series you have mentioned I never picked up. Could you look through your issues and determine which issues have Legion appearances? I'm happy to build them into the table, just dont know which ones to add (and to buy). Need info on:
- Armageddon 2001
- Armageddon: Inferno
- Bloodbath
- DC Challenge
- DC One Million (bookends)
- Kingdom
- Kingdom Come
- Legends
- Legends of the DC Universe
- Super Powers
- Unlimited Access

- Off the top of my head, I can answer a few. The rest I'd have to look up later (if I can find them in my collection) for the details, but here's my checklist. After looking at the checklist I see that I included too much on here, some of them were single issues within a miniseries.
- Armageddon Inferno #1, 3 - ties into Ultra Boy running around in ancient Egypt, concurrent with the v4 issues. I think he teams up with Dr. Fate/Nabu.
- Bloodbath #1, 2 - feature Jamm
- Kingdom Come #1, 2, 3, 4 - The Legion has a one-panel cameo in issue #1, and Starman appears in all four issues.
- Legends #1, 2, 3 - Cosmic Boy in the 20th century, his appearance here leads directly into his miniseries
- Super Powers v3 #1, 2, 3, 4 - a miniseries based on the action figure line, this one features Tyr as a villain (non-canonical, so it's a retroactive Elseworlds)
- Unlimited Access #1, 2 - the Legion vs the X-Men in a Marvel/DC crossover series

- Also, regarding grouping books...at the risk of repeating the earlier "Superman Family" thing, I think that we can group books that are very similar, if there aren't many of titles and/or issues, where appropriate. Examples: Showcase '95 and '96, which were separate series, should be on a single page. Thus I'd keep the two Ambush Bug one-shots on an Ambush Bug page; the various Legion Secret Files and Origins; Flash v2 and Flash 80-Page Giant; Superman v1 and Superman Annual; Justice Leagues Europe, of America, and Quarterly; Legends of the DC Universe 80-Page Giant, 3-D Gallery, and Crisis on Infinite Earths; Sovereign Seven Plus and Annual; Starman v1 and v2; non-Legion Secret Files like DCU and Flash; etc. -- Omnicom 12:36, 3 November 2006 (PST)
