Dyrk Magz joined the Legion during a time when half its membership had been exiled to the 21st Century, and they held a tryout to attempt to increase its active membership. He only served for a short time, however, before he was depowered in a fight with Mordru.
After this, he spent some time on the Legion's support staff, playing a vital role in the defeat of the Fatal Four after they stole the Legion Outpost, but, after the team were forcibly disbanded following the loss of half the team in the Rift, he returned to his home planet of Braal to join the Science Police.
