The Lightning Saga, Prologue

(1 page/6 panels)

Synopsis

During the events of the "Tornado's Path" storyline, the Justice League encounter a villain named Trident who is under the influence of a mechanically enhanced Starro starfish on the back of his neck. Having removed the starfish, Batman and Black Lightning examine the unconscious Trident. His fingerprints do not match any records in the Batcave database, or the records of the Gotham Police, national fingerprint ID system or the Hall of Justice. However, there is a match at the Fortress of Solitude, revealing that Trident is actually Karate Kid and setting up the mystery for the Lightning Saga storyline beginning in the following issue.
