Jason Armstrong debuted as the ongoing Legion of Super-Heroes v4 penciller with the backup story "All Together Now" in Legion of Super-Heroes v4 #100, before taking over fully with the lead story in *Legion of Super-Heroes v4 #101, "Jump." Most of his stories were inked by Ron Boyd, and he continued as penciller until "Dark Circle Rising", where he left with the last issue of that story, Legion of Super-Heroes v4 #108, aptly called "The End". In total, he would draw ten stories, including his earlier fill-in on Legion of Super-Heroes v4 #70, as well as pinups in Legion of Super-Heroes v4, Annual 6 and Legion of Super-Heroes Secret Files #1, and two pages in Legion of Super-Heroes v4 #94, "22 pages about the Legion of Super-Heroes", as one of "The Legion of Substitute Artists."
