Questions for debate

I've moved over what to me makes sense to go here, including

• Twice told tales
• Mon-El appearances before Adv 301
• Dev-Em appearances before he came to the 30th century
• First appearances of Elastic Lad and Insect Queen
• First meeting of the Super-Pets (prior to Proty and being called the LoSP
• First appearance of planet Zerox
• Stories set in the 30th century that dont involve the Legion

I have not included

• Subsequent non-Legion appearances of Elastic Lad & Insect Queen
• Stories in which Lois Lane uses Jimmy's Elastic serum, Lana's bio ring, etc.

Questions

1. Any differing opinions as to what should be here?
2. Should these issues be removed from the regular LPH?
3. What do people think about moving the non-Legion Elastic Lad/Insect Queen appearances to the Jimmy/Lana pages and removing from LPH? We could add a cross-referencing note in Elastic Lad issues to the other list.
4. Is anyone attached to listing appearances of the Space Canine Patrol Agency? Are these supposed to relate to the LoSP? I don't completely buy the connection, although I don't have any of the issues
5. I have added some issues here that aren't strictly "Precursors." Remove? Rename the page? Ignore this fact?
6. Any other thoughts?

My thoughts on what should go on this page (and I'll check, but I think I posted this somewhere when arguing to get rid of the "AR" page) are basically:

• Anything before Adv247 which is included in the LPH at all - i.e., involves something/some character which would later significantly affect the Legion. For Kal-El, limit this to Action Comics #1 and (debut of Superboy) except for stories which qualify in some other way.
• Anything after Adv247 which does not involve the Legion, but involves something/some character which would later significantly affect the Legion.
• Anything which is in purely because it's a "Twice Told Tale" - i.e., non-Legion, but later retold with Legion characters.

And I think it would be quite possible - as with the L.E.G.I.O.N. Publication History page - to have stuff on this page that wouldn't be included on the main LPH pages.

For the sake of discussion, I am going to remove what I have placed on this page from the regular LPH. This doesn't mean that it can't go back, but I think it might be useful to see what the result looks like. I think there is very high correlation between what you have outlined and what I have included. I'll do a more thorough comparison and post the differences here. Something that is currently not represented anywhere in the LPH are the first appearances of Superman/Superboy, Lana Lang, Pete Ross (?), Supergirl, Krypto, etc. -- Gopher 10:41, 12 October 2007 (PDT)
