Working on a new table format for these sorts of lists. You can see it in Reboot (Post-ZH) green on List of first appearances/Reboot, and here it is in Preboot (Pre-Crisis) red. Any thoughts? - Reboot (SoM) talk page 16:53, 20 November 2012 (MST)

Definitely looks better than the standard boring table format - I'll start switching over to it. I also need to start incorporating the usage of footnotes, as you have done on the Reboot version of the page. I do have a couple of minor suggestions for the format itself, but I'm not really attached to these, and will be using your design regardless.
  1. Would prefer that the names in the far left column be flush left rather than centered
  2. Would prefer that the far left column be as narrow as possible, in order to give more space to the text in the data columns. The "a.k.a. Triplicate Girl, etc" is the main culprit, which I'll play with. The smaller text helps.
  3. Would prefer that the column headers be white text against the red background rather than use the era-specific coloring - would just be easier to read.
  4. If we could bring the font for the entire table down slightly, it might be easier to fit some of the longer series name in. Dont know how that would play with users who have their individual preferences set up differently than the norm, but if the reduction were not too drastic, it shouldn't be too bad for those users.
