I adapted this from text I wrote for wikipedia, hope that's okay.

Also, going by other examples I gather this should probably be split along legion eras. I'll try to get to that... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Aapold (talkcontribs) . Please sign on talk pages with - ~~~~

Yep, anything you wrote for Wikipedia is fine here. -- Omnicom 12:46, 18 October 2006 (PDT)
Yeah, as Omnicom said, as long as you wrote the text for WP in the first place, it's fine that you use it here (indeed, most of the post-ZH bios I've written are based on bios I originally did for WP, not including anyone else's changes). The reason the message to not copy stuff you didn't write yourself is there is that, although you can nominally reuse WP stuff wholesale, it gets complicated since there are certain hoops you need to jump through that get problematic very quickly, and would require us to licence everything here under the same conditions or get the permission of all the original editors (emphasis on "all", even people who just fixed typos) to bypass them. - Reboot (SoM) talk page 14:06, 18 October 2006 (PDT)
As for eras, Mordru is one character who has had multiple versions, each with different history:
  • Mordru/Pre-Crisis and Mordru/Post-Crisis are probably good for a single page
  • Mordru/Glorithverse definitely has a different history
  • Mordru/Post-Zero Hour is another guy
What about the younger Mordru in the 20th century that fought the JSA, how does he fit in? Probably the post-ZH reboot, I'd think, though in that one flash-forward sequence we saw some Legionnaires who never actually joined in the reboot but they were in the reboot costumes rather than the current costumes. And of course, there's nothing that says the JSA Mordru (and Amethyst's Mordru) can't be both. Or something, time travel makes my head hurt.
Finally, we'll need to wikify the character entries to look like some of the other ones (like Saturn Girl, for example), but I don't know if there's a special color code for villains or if that's just for era.

Thing is, near as I can tell, the post-ZH Legion actually diverges from the DCU during Our Worlds at War, since Veridium/Doc Magnus makes it through intact, while in the Legion's timeline Computo was reassembled during the "Imperiex War at the end of M2" and promptly scooted to the edge of the galaxy. This is after the first JSA/Mordru[/Dr Fate] arc, but before Princes of Darkness [which essentially ends with the flashforward scene you describe with Blok, KQ2 in her short-hair look, M'Onel (in the Moy costume with starry M) and Superboy (in Superman costume) among others in front of an unfamiliar Legion HQ fighting Mordru in his original, pre-ZH, costume.], possibly a Legion that never encountered Robotica and built Legion World, but the then-"real DCU" Legion.
(Going off the subject for a moment, there's another ("What If... Imperiex won") Legion in the Young Justice: OWAW special, written by DnA - which featured M'On taking on the Superman costume and Brainiac 5 merging with Brainiac 13 - while, of course, Ra's al Ghul shows KQ2 "the infinite nows of the multiverse" to take her out in Terror Incognita, which gives us glimpses of a ton of alternate KQ2s. Later, I make another divergence point immediately after The Legion #34, one going to For No Better Reason quite some time later, one to the Teen Titans crossover in a rather shorter order. Which is why I've not made reference to either in any bios. End digression :))
On Mordru specifically, I think he's very similar to M'Onel to this extent. The Amethyst backstory applies to both Glorithverse and post-ZH, but not to pre-Crisis/post-Crisis. See above for why the JSA thing makes **MY** head hurt...
And finally, see the alliance_color variable on Template:Member and Template:Character :) - Reboot (SoM) talk page 14:06, 18 October 2006 (PDT)
