2995: The Legion of Super-Heroes Sourcebook

2995: The Legion of Super-Heroes Sourcebook (ISBN 0-923763-64-3) was published in 1992 by Mayfair Games, Inc. The book was written by Tom Bierbaum and Mary Bierbaum, who were writing the regular Legion of Super-Heroes comic book at the time. Since a large portion of the material in this book appeared only in the book and not in the comics themselves, much of what is written inside has been considered near-canon by fans (but cannot be considered truly canonical).
The information in the book itself is not presented like a traditional RPG sourcebook, aside from the power and ability statistical information. Background information is presented similarly to the text pieces in the comics at the time, in the form of haiku, news stories, interview transcripts, etc.
It has been out of print for many years.#
