DC Legends Powerchrome
DC Legends Powerchrome was the name of a series of trading cards produced in 1995 by Skybox. There were 150 regular cards and 9 chase cards plus several promo cards in the set.
Description
The DC Legends Powerchrome set was DC's first "chromium" card set, using metallic-looking foil rather than cardboard. Each card had an image of the character on the front and a computer-morphed version of the character's face on the back, along with some text. The card text was written by Barbara Kesel and Karl Kesel, and the card design was by the Arnie Sawyer Studios. There were several subsets, including Hall of Heroes, Solo Quest, Overdrive, and Terror Instinct. The Legionnaires were part of the Universal Forces subset, while the L.E.G.I.O.N. was part of the Solo Quest subset.
The set contains reprinted artwork from various sources. The penciller, inker, and colorist are credited in this set, and in the table below the last name will always be the colorist (if there are two names, then the first did both pencils and inks).
