Bismoll is an inhabited planet. There are no other known inhabited planets in Bismoll's star system.

Description

Colonists on the world of Bismoll discovered that deadly microbes had evolved, which rendered all organic matter on the planet poisonous. In order to survive, the Bismollians used bio-genetic engineering to give themselves the ability to consume all forms of matter (except for a metallic substance known as duralim, which is still poisonous to Bismollians).

Bismoll's government is a representative democracy, in which representatives and a head of state are chosen by the people to govern for a specified period of time. On Bismoll, candidates for office are drafted, rather than them choosing to run. Bismoll has a Senate and a Presidency.
