Vote!
(1 page, 6 panels)
Synopsis
With Legion leader elections initiated by Cosmic Boy in the previous story, Matter-Eater Lad makes his first on-screen appearance in the v6 series to encourage readers to vote in the election. After chomping an old-fashioned cardboard ballot box, he points to a floating marquee that tells readers about the website where they can see the complete rules and vote.
The text on the marquee reads:
Greetings from the 31st century!
To vote for Legion leader, go to
LegionElection.com Full rules will
be posted there, but you can only
vote for one active member of the
team, and you must vote by
November 10!
Thanks for participating!
(and is then signed)

Notes
Introduces the website set up for Legion fans to vote in the Legion Leader Election. Legion fans have a long history of participating in the creation of the comic by voting in the Legion leader election. During Paul Levitz's second run as writer, he presided over and wrote stories around several different fan choices for leader. This marks the first time that the Legion election has been conducted online.
