Reboot Reference Kit

Zero Hour

While this annual functions as backstory for the "Glorithverse" Legion, the events of D.O.A. and End of an Era mean that the flashbacks were never realised in the Glorithverse 20th century, where time distortions caused by an attack by Glorith on Devlin O'Ryan would result in Glorith poisoning Valor and - when rejected - allowing him to die in the 20th century. An attempt to "patch" the timeline with the SW6 Valor failed to solve matters, and the contradiction would be a factor in the subsequent collapse and rebooting of the timeline.

Reboot

The series of flashbacks showing Valor's war against the Dominators and subsequent "seeding" of worlds occurs fully in Reboot (Post-Zero Hour) continuity (where the D.O.A. events never happened), between Valor #10 and Superboy v3 #17-19. where Valor appears amnesiac on Earth from lead poisoning, and is subsequently projected into the "Stasis Zone" by Superboy (Kon-El) to save his life rather than being sent to the Btzgl Buffer Zone by a spurned Glorith. Subsequently, the Reboot Legion would manipulate matters so that a similar crowd to that seen in this issue would apparently be disappointed, and Valor released in secret to ultimately join the Legion as the anonymous "M'Onel". While speculation linked M'Onel to both Valor and Superman, he would never reveal his original identity to the public, although he did briefly readopt his "Valor" costume starting in The Legion #32.
