====================

The Legion shirt will hopefully be in stores the week of April
10th.

Jeff isn't sure about the chances of a Legion poster.

Tom and Jeff are planning on attending the Chicago Convention in
June. Jeff will also be at the San Diego convention in July.

The LSH Annual will be out right after L* #41. Tom believes the
L* Annual is around LSH #87. The annuals have the 1996 DC Annual
theme ("Legends of a Lost Earth"), but are separate stories. The
LSH Annual will be drawn by Mike Collins.

Jeff thinks his art has come a long ways since L* #0, and he
gives some of the credit to inker Cory Carani.

Tom believes that two Legion books is enough for now.

Tom hinted that there may be a reunion with Mark Waid for the
Legion, but it wouldn't be through a third Legion book. Tom
thought that a Flash or Impulse crossover would be nice, and a
good opportunity to reunite Impulse with XS.

Tom noted that they would probably have to wait for Supergirl to
get going before there was a Supergirl/LSH crossover.

The creators are planning out the next year of books soon. They
basically plan about a year and a half's worth of the books at a
time, but go back and adjust after nine months. Tom finds that
the long-range planning helps give an idea of where the
characters are going to keep the story moving.

The reader election for reader is in KC's hands for now. Tom
thinks it would be at least a two month gap between the election
and incorporating the results into the books.

Tom reports that KC Carlson is not fond of Quislet.

There are no plans for a Ferro appearance in the Legion books
yet. There are no plans for the Legion of Substitute Heroes yet.

No new members are joining the team until at least LSH #42, if
they've even planned that far yet.

Jeff observed that characters do not have to die in the postboot
just because their preboot counterparts did. Tom isn't planning
on killing off Lyle anytime soon.

Tom asked an Apparition fan if it was okay to provide another
Bgtzler to take Tinya's place.

Jeff has done some preliminary sketches for Dream Girl, but he
wants to do some more. He's included lots of white hair and a
star-shaped beauty mark in the sketches that he's done. Jeff
also observed that it didn't offend him to draw lots of skin.
Brains, however, he leaves to the writers.

Tom observed that a lot of people were guessing about what they
had planned for LSH #80, and that there were a lot of wrong
guesses.

Tom thought that R.J. would learn to accept the job of UP
President, but wasn't happy about it.

Tom found it difficult to keep Chameleon's language skills a
surprise.

Tom believes that a new Fatal Five will have to be created for
the next Fatal Five story, including an upgrade for Tharok. Tom
indicated that Tharok was smart enough to build another Atomic
Axe for the Persuader.

When asked whether Mano could join the Legion, Tom didn't think
that the team would open him with open hands.

L* #37 will have more about Ambassador Wazzo.

The secret admirer is revealed in LSH #81.

Jeff designed the new Triad uniforms that appear on the cover to
L* #39. For Triad Orange, Jeff went back to Triad's youth. The
Triads are different ages, but it's difficult to tell in the
small reproduction from PREVIEWS. Jeff dodged the question about
whether the change would be permanent.
