=============================

Tom wishes he was like Triad so he could get his work done a lot
faster.

The Legion makes a brief appearance in KINGDOM COME.

Apparition is still dead. There are no plans for the Legion of
Substitute Heroes. There are no plans for a third Legion title.
"[A]nd Ferro Lad, well . . . ." There are no plans for Nemesis
at this time.

Tom doesn't see Shrinking Violet and Tenzil Kem as a couple.

Element Lad won't be linking up with Schvaughn Erin at this time
because he has something else to do for a while.

Brainiac 5 was able to cure Element Lad of his blindness caused
by Dirk Morgna in LSH #81.

Tom indicates that he probably wouldn't say if Apparition were
causing Ultra Boy's recent pains.

If you missed the announcement from last week's chats, a portion
of the Legion is temporarily going to be trapped in the 20th
century. The 20th century team's stories will be told in LSH,
while the 30th century exploits will be related in L*.

The time-lost Legionnaires first arrive in Metropolis. He
declined to say whether they arrived together or in different
locations.

Saturn Girl will be part of the 20th century team. Leviathan
will be on the 30th century team. They haven't announced how
many members will be trapped in the 20th century.

Tom wouldn't say if any non-Legionnaires were going to the 20th
century with the Legionnaires.

They're still trying to figure out what to do with the "L"
numbers on the covers after the 20th/30th split.

Telepathic earplugs will become a must for the 20th century
Legionnaires.

According to Tom, many fans now seem willing to give the split
timeline storyline a chance.

The creative team is discussing a meeting with the Marvel family,
but there are no plans for a meeting yet. Tom is still trying to
work out if Spark or Live Wire's powers would cause the Marvels
to change.

Some fans have requested another Superboy crossover. Tom states
that the Legion team can borrow Superboy, and they don't have to
do a crossover to use him.

Deadman is scheduled to be the first 20th century guest star.

Tom says there aren't that many crossovers planned as of right
now.

Tom indicates that the 20th and 30th century teams will be facing
some similar developments to see how they react differently to
the situations.

With respect to the upcoming Emerald Eye storyline, Tom cautions
that we should not look at a cover and jump to conclusions.

The Emerald Eye works differently than a Green Lantern ring. As
it stands for right now, there is only one Emerald Eye.

A few Legionnaires will suffer because of Kinetix's lust for
power.
