Tom is certain that there will be a least a couple of Legion lunches planned, but refuses to eat pizza with anchovies. In fact, Tom reveals that anchovies can not come anywhere near any of the Legion creators--it's their weakness. Former assistant/associate editor Mike McAvennie has almost completed his work with the Legion books. He still has the upcoming SHOWCASE stories, and will remain the lettercol writer for the time being. The color of the turtleneck collars on the Science Police uniforms determine the rank of the officer. Kinetix's new powers are telekineses. She can no longer reshape objects. There are no plans for a Supergirl/LSH crossover story right now, at least until her own series is underway. Tom's favorite DC hero is the Flash. It's the character that got him hooked on comics. He loved the Rogues Gallery. Tom observes that the "ownership" of the Tornado Twins is shared between the Flash team and the Legion team. Tom observes its the fair thing to do and quips if they split them up, they wouldn't be the Tornado Twins. There are no plans for the Time Trapper or Computo right now. There are no plans for any of the members of the Legion of Substitute Heroes any time soon. Tom wasn't certain why Braal and Titan declared war on each other, but speculates it was probably some silly thing. Tom conceded that he hadn't thought of the reason yet. Tom believes that Titan is likely a former Earth colony. Tom thinks the planets Plevitz and G'ff'n are probably at war right now. Tom indicated that Double Header was probably his least favorite of the Substitute Heroes. The postboot team will not be doing the Sean/Schvaughn story in the postboot continuity. Tom promises a big surprise for L* #37. Legion editor KC Carlson is the character raising the flag in the final pages of LSH #80. President Brande's second-in-command will be identified in LSH #81. Tom notes that Chu was both President of the Earth and U.P President. However, Brande may change things to ease his workload. There are plans for Ferro in the works. Cosmic Boy gave Invisible Kid free control of the Espionage Squad. He didn't know all that they were doing. Tom offered this explanation for how the Espionage Squad sequence in L*#36/LSH #80 happened: Invisible Kid, Shrinking Violet and Triad (one as Chameleon) enter Ambassador Wazzo's quarters. They Drug and hide Ambassador Wazzo and set up apparent deaths. Meanwhile, Chameleon captures President Chu and Brainiac 5. Tom points out that you can drug a phaser if they aren't expecting it. Tom thinks that Triad may be able to only split into two women rather than three. Tom speculates that Luornu is special in this regard and that most Carggites can only split into three bodies. Triad is going to go through some changes. No Computo stuff, though. Tom doesn't think a Carggite Sex Special would make it past the Comics Code Authority. The Xanthan heroes that appear in LSH #83 have a team name, and Insect Queen will be a member. There is also a campy heroine named "Monstress". Now that Chameleon can speak, he'll be explaining his "popeness". A new member will probably join in L* #42. (Ed - Note the use of the word "probably.") The potential member isn't Dream Girl. It isn't Chemical King, but Tom noted that he would like to do something with Condo and thought that his powers could be used better. It also isn't Chuck Taine, but there are no plans for getting rid of Chuck anytime soon.
