============================
Ron may be writing a story for Showcase #9. He couldn't discuss the story
any further.
Roger was born in 1950, and his middle name is Lowell.
Jeff is leaving for a vacation in Japan soon, and hopes to be done
pencilling L* #38 before his departure. Tom asked Jeff to bring back a lot
of reference material from his trip, and thought that a Japan Legion story
would be a good idea.
Roger announced the passing of Jerry Siegel for the Legion participants who
were not already aware of Mr. Siegel's death. Roger mentioned an
unpublished Siegel Superman story that he hoped would be published.
Roger is always thinking about doing a Mordru story. He's been waiting
30-some years to see the first confrontation between Mordru and the Legion.
Roger is still waiting for Gates to metamorphasize. Roger felt that Gates
was just a pupa in disguise.
Flederweb was a mutant Khund, which is very rare.
Moy indicated that he'd have to find his Interlac sheet before more Interlac
would appear on the backgrounds.
Roger likes to see non-humanoid off-worlders.
The postboot Plaid Lad can't be the Legion's interior designer because
that's the Athramites' job.
The current Legion roster includes: Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Triad,
Invisible Kid, Chameleon, Leviathan, Brainiac 5, XS, Spark, Shrinking
Violet, Kinetix, Star Boy and Gates. On questioning, Tom confirmed that
Kinetix was still considered a Legionnaire, pointing out that she'd not been
kicked off the team but was merely missing.
Kinetix was mostly created by Tom Peyer.
Tom believes Chameleon will learn Interlac as soon as he gets the time. Tom
likes the heavily-accented dialogue.
There are no immediate plans for the Legion of Super-Villains. There are no
plans for Princess Projectra.
The Dominators appeared in LSH Annual #6. The Khund will appear sometime,
but not soon. The Gil'Dispan are probably around, too.
Roger says that the reason the Legion seems immature lately is because their
average age is about 15.
Tom indicated that most of the Legionnaires were genetically the same as
their preboot counterparts.
Roger said there are no marriages planned in the near future, but plenty of
romance. Jeff indicated that some romances might take place outside the
Legion. Roger indicated that we could look to "Superman: Man of Tomorrow"
#5 for a wedding.
The reaction to Shrinking Violet's personality change has been mixed. Tom
felt that her more aggressive personality fit with what she's doing in the
Legion.
Jeff joked that the flower in Shrinking Violet's hair could a hologram.
Tom indicated that there is no Starfinger right now. Jan Arrah's villainous
persona didn't have a name. Roger had suggested the name "The Point Man".
Tom doesn't think of the Brainy spotlight as a skip issue. Rather, it's a
prelude of things to come. Tom indicated that the story couldn't wait until
after the Shrinking Violet story was over to see print because they wanted
Jeff to do the art on the whole story.
There are plans for the Espionage Squad.
Cosmic Boy may get to smile after LSH #80. Night Girl won't be showing up,
but instead a few things will be lifted off Cos' shoulders.
Tom mentioned that the Legionnaires would visit Xanthu and Titan soon.
Tom refused to provide information on Imra's sister, insisting that fans
read L* #38 to find out details.
